Community Guidelines

Omnimet strives to maintain a fun, healthy, and safe community for all our users. To preserve our mission, we have developed a set of community guidelines (“Guidelines”), which we take very seriously. We have a zero-tolerance policy and reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to remove any content (“Content” as defined below) and/or suspend or terminate any offending user account if we find that any of the following violations of our Guidelines have occurred:

“Content” includes anything that can be seen, heard, and/or referenced in any broadcast or broadcast title, any text or images posted to any comments section, and any information posted or contained in any profile in connection with Omnimet.

Please read the following carefully and assess your activity and adherence accordingly:

General

User Definition: Omnimet users refer to registered users of Omnimet, and their behaviour is subject to these Guidelines. Unregistered users on Omnimet are also bound by these Guidelines.

Legal Compliance: Omnimet users must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws while using Omnimet. Any content or activities that violate the law or encourage others to engage in illegal activities are prohibited.

Service Scope: Omnimet only provides live broadcasting services. Any additional commercial activities conducted on other platforms are considered independent actions.

1. No Nudity or Excessively Sexual Content.

   Omnimet strictly prohibits broadcasters from creating or sharing any sexual content that promotes sexual activity, exploitation, and/or assault. Implicitly sexual content or activities are also forbidden, though exceptions may be made for educational content or pre-approved material, subject to additional restrictions. We reserve the right to report any inappropriate content to relevant law enforcement agencies, including but not limited to:

   • Exposure of genitalia.

   • Inappropriate or revealing clothing.

   • Sexually suggestive or provocative activity, including gestures, posture, dances, or general sexual behaviour.

   • Sexually explicit language, whether on camera, in comments, or in broadcast titles.

   • Offers of sexual services, such as prostitution, escort services, sexual massages, or filmed sexual activity.

   • Content involving minors in a sexual context, including solicitation or grooming.
     

2. No Bullying, Harassment, or Hate Speech or Symbols.

   Regardless of whether the target is on Omnimet, we prohibit all forms of bullying, harassment, and hate speech. We do not allow individuals, communities, or organizations engaging in such behaviour to use our services. Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to:

   • Discriminatory or degrading remarks based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, nationality, appearance, or sexual orientation/gender identity, including imitation for humiliation, such as blackface.

   • Altered images intended to degrade an individual or sharing photos/videos of bullying for shaming purposes.

   • Sharing/displaying personal information to blackmail or harass.

   • Profanity or vulgarity.

   • Displaying or promoting symbols associated with hate groups, like swastikas, confederate flags, or Klan uniforms.

3. No one under the age of 18 is allowed to stream on Omnimet.

   In the interest of child safety, Omnimet does not allow anyone under the age of 18 to broadcast on the platform.

   • Refrain from including babies, children, or anyone under 18 in your broadcast, even if you are over 18.

   • If it is suspected that a broadcaster is under 18 or has minors in the stream, the stream may be terminated, and the broadcaster may be asked to prove their age.

   • Do not use photos of children, babies, or minors in your cover photos or profile photos on Omnimet.

   • mnimet takes child safety very seriously and may report to law enforcement or other relevant agencies if a child is believed to be in danger or exploited. Please report any such behaviour immediately.

4. No Use of or Reference to Illegal Substances or Criminal Activity.

   Content related to the use, mention, or display of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia is strictly prohibited. Content featuring tobacco or alcohol consumption is also strongly discouraged. Use discretion, as we reserve the right to take action against accounts and cooperate with law enforcement if we believe there is a genuine risk of physical harm or a direct threat to public safety. This includes, but is not limited to, content about marijuana.

   • Content related to the use, mention, or display of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia.

   • Smoking, vaping, or drinking alcohol during a broadcast.

   • Actions that cause physical or financial harm to individuals, animals, property, or businesses, either directly or indirectly.

   • The presence or use of illegal substances, tobacco, or alcohol by minors during a broadcast.

5. No Acts or Threats of Violence, Self-Harm, or Self-Mutilation.

   Omnimet maintains a zero-tolerance policy for any attempts or threats of harm or violence towards others. While you are responsible for your own well-being, it is crucial to respect others and avoid content that may disturb or offend. We strictly prohibit the following behaviours, including but not limited to:

   • Promoting or encouraging suicide or self-harm;

   • Inciting or endorsing physical violence or sensational acts that cause harm or discomfort to yourself, others, children, or animals;

   • Streaming while engaged in dangerous or distracted driving;

   • Displaying excessive or unreasonable bloody or graphic violence.

6. No Sharing of Private Information.

   Omnimet is committed to respecting privacy and safeguarding information. We evaluate unauthorized private content on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Please ensure you do not share content that infringes on someone's privacy or discloses confidential information. Examples of private information include but are not limited to:

   • Personal addresses or private locations, and non-public phone numbers or email addresses.

   • Social security numbers, national identity numbers, or credit card details.

   • Intimate videos or photos shared without the subject’s consent.

   • Content considered private under relevant laws.

7. No Spam.

   Omnimet prohibits users from generating commercial profit through our platform. Please avoid using misleading or incorrect information, and refrain from the following activities, including but not limited to:

   • Soliciting likes, tracking numbers, or free virtual currency through deceptive means or contacting other users for commercial gain without consent.

   • Posting or distributing unauthorized advertisements, repetitive messages, or user reports.

   • Engaging in phishing schemes.

   • Distributing malware or viruses.

   • Selling or sharing user accounts.

   • Reselling Omnimet’s services or features.

   • If you receive unsolicited advertisements from other users in the Omnimet community, please report them to us at support@omnimetlive.com and avoid interacting with any suspicious links or websites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for any actions you take as a result of such interactions.

8. Impersonation is strictly prohibited.

   Users must not impersonate others, whether individuals or Omnimet users, with the intention to mislead, confuse, or deceive. When selecting a username, adhere to the following:

   • Impersonation of any kind is strictly forbidden.

   • Omnimet reserves the right to alter usernames if we determine, at our discretion, that impersonation is occurring. This also applies to usernames that contain inappropriate language.

   • Usernames are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. If you find that your desired username is unavailable due to impersonation or other issues, please report it to us for investigation.

9. No Violation of Copyrights; DMCA Policy.

   Users must respect copyright laws and refrain from uploading or sharing content that infringes on intellectual property rights. This includes:

   • No Copyright Infringement: Do not post, share, or distribute content that violates copyrights or trademarks, including music, videos, images, and other media.

   • DMCA Compliance: If you believe that your copyrighted material has been used without permission, you can file a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) complaint. We will take appropriate action in response to valid claims.

   Omnimet respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. If you share content you do not own or have not been authorized to use, it may infringe on others' intellectual property rights. This includes using third-party content without permission or creating derivative works. Unauthorized content may be removed, and repeated violations can lead to permanent suspension of your account.

   If you are a copyright owner or agent and believe your rights have been infringed, please report it to us. For a swift investigation, include the following information with your report:

   • A physical or electronic signature of the authorized person acting on behalf of the copyright owner.

   • Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to be infringed.

   • Details about the infringing material, including:

     Display name (e.g., Omnimet)

     • Username & ID

     • Broadcast title

     • Date and time of broadcast

     • Broadcast URL (if available)

     • Contact information, such as an address, telephone number, and email address.

     • A statement of good faith belief that the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, agent, or law.

     • A statement that the information provided is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

10. Quality Streaming

    For the best streaming experience, users should ensure their environment is well-lit and maintain quality in their broadcasts. Please avoid the following:

    • - Streaming in dark or poorly-lit environments.

    • Streaming with a completely black screen

    • Streaming while sleeping

    • Leaving a broadcast running for extended periods without a present broadcaster.

    Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in the termination of your stream.

11. Reporting Abuse.

    At Omnimet, we rely on our community to help maintain a safe and respectful environment. If you encounter content or activity that seems to violate our Guidelines, please report it to us at support@omnimetlive.com. We take all reports seriously and may request additional information. Please keep the following in mind:

    • Provide a clear explanation of why you believe the content should be removed (e.g., sexual, illegal, or violent acts), and include a screenshot if possible.

    • - Our review decisions may evolve based on new context or content related to a specific broadcast or user account.

    • The frequency of reports does not impact the decision to remove content. We only act on content that clearly violates our Guidelines.

    • - Penalties for violating our Guidelines are at our discretion and depend on the severity and the user’s history. This can range from warnings to temporary suspensions or permanent bans.

    • - Not all disturbing content violates our Guidelines. We may allow sensitive content if it is deemed artistic, educational, scientific, or newsworthy. Reporting does not guarantee removal.

    • - We may also remove content based on local laws if requested by government authorities, even if it does not violate our Guidelines.

    Your vigilance helps us keep our community safe and enjoyable for everyone.

12. General Terms and Conditions

    These Guidelines represent the complete agreement between you and Omnimet regarding their subject matter and replace all prior agreements, discussions, and communications related to this topic. Omnimet reserves the right to transfer these Guidelines, along with any rights or obligations, to third parties without notifying you. A party’s decision to refrain from exercising any right under these Guidelines does not constitute a waiver of future rights. If any provision of these Guidelines is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply fully. Omnimet is not liable for any failure to meet obligations due to factors beyond our control, such as natural disasters, war, or other force majeure events. Omnimet retains the right to seek legal remedies to protect our intellectual property and confidential information, including seeking injunctive relief. We may update these Guidelines at any time and will post any changes on this page. Continued use of our services after modifications indicates your acceptance of the revised Guidelines. If you disagree with any changes, you must stop using our services immediately.
